Privacy policy
Last updated 21 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data LENTA d.o.o. receives through www.lenta.si, why we use it and what rights you have. In short: we use what you send us to reply to you, and nothing else. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
Who is responsible
LENTA d.o.o., Španska ulica 9, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia
Registration number 2239469000 · VAT ID SI64116115
Email: info@lenta.si
What we collect
- Contact form: your name, organisation (optional), email address and message, and the time it was sent.
- Email: if you write to us directly, your address and whatever you include in the message.
- Technical data: to deliver the site and keep it secure, the hosting servers process your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. To protect the form from abuse, a one-way hash of your IP address is kept for one hour.
We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking or advertising. Fonts, images and scripts are served from our own domain, so your visit sends no data to third parties.
Why we use it
- To answer your inquiry and, where it leads to cooperation, to prepare it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before a contract, and Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in answering business correspondence).
- To run the website and protect it from misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Sending us your details is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot reply. We make no automated decisions about you.
How long we keep it
Messages are kept as long as needed to handle the inquiry, and at most 2 years, unless an ongoing business relationship or a legal obligation requires longer. The IP hash used against abuse is deleted after one hour. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider only for a limited period, to run the service and keep it secure.
Who else receives it
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. It is processed on our behalf only by Hitrost.com in Slovenia, which hosts both this website and our email, under a data processing agreement. Your data stays within the European Union.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, its correction or deletion, a restriction of its use, or a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Write to info@lenta.si; we reply within one month.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec), Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.
